We are thrilled to be hosting Yael Leibowitz of Midreshet Lindenbaum and Matan Women’s Institute for Torah Studies for a Scholar-in-Residence Shabbat on March 7 & 8, sponsored by Lilly and David Icikson in memory of the 10th yahrzeit of Dr. Walter Weitzner OBM, with additional sponsorship by Yehudit and David Goldfinger in memory of Izzy Farkas OBM, Holly and Michael Weiss, and an anonymous donor.

Yael Leibowitz is an Israeli educator. She holds a Master’s degree in Judaic Studies from Columbia University, taught at the Upper School of Ramaz, and is a former faculty member of Yeshiva University’s Stern College for Women where she taught advanced Bible courses. She currently teaches at Matan Women’s Institute for Torah Learning and Midreshet Lindenbaum College for Women.

In addition to Yael's shiurim, there will be a catered Friday night dinner and a gala kiddush on Saturday. Registration for the Friday night dinner is now open below.
